The Color Code is a fun read that provides
tremendous insights into people’s personalities. Dr. Hartman’s
goal is to help people better understand themselves and others
by discovering their motives – why they do what they do.
After a brief introduction the reader takes a fun
Personality Profile Test that identifies a person’s personality
type. Four colors (red, blue, white and yellow) are used as
metaphors of the four different types. Though most people are a
blend of different colors, Dr. Hartman believes that one
color/personality is more dominant in each person.
As you read you’ll find yourself repeatedly thinking,
“That’s me!” And if you read with a spouse or children you’ll
hear everyone saying, “That’s so you!”
This book helped me in my relationships with my wife and
children. It has also been very helpful in my profession and
church callings. Fun and insightful.
