I read That’s Faith with my 12 year old son and we
both gained a good perspective on faith. The stories relating
to each topic are entertaining and easy to understand.
I really enjoyed the book from a mother's point of view
because I can see it as a useful tool to reinforce the gospel
principles taught in the "For the Strength of Youth" pamphlet.
I especially liked the worksheet at the end of each chapter to
evaluate how you’re doing.
I can see using the book as family home evening lessons and
working on a particular goal for a week or even for a
month. I would make a copy of each goal page and hang it
where my children could see it everyday to remind them of the
gospel principle they are working on.
The book is also a great resource for youth talks in
Sacrament meeting. Some of the stories would even be
appropriate for Primary sharing time.
I'm far from a teenager, but I found it inspiring even for
me. I liked that it was easy to read, anecdotal with real life
experiences and not at all preachy. Inspirational is the
word that best describes it for me.
A great read for pre-teens, teens and adults.
